game programmer/developer
Have you always dreamt about making great games with a small and efficient team for the big screens that can be enjoyed cross generationally by millions of players? You will be an integral member of the team creating the systems and gameplay for Get Colossal, a totally new IP. Together with the team, you will be solving tricky problems and looking for creative solutions from multiple angles In Unreal Engine 5. We’re looking for you, who has a broad understanding of game development and thrives on taking ownership in a collaborating team.
Responsibilities:

Build game systems, implement gameplay features and troubleshoot issues for a networked multiplayer game

Solving tricky problems and looking for creative solutions from multiple angles

Work with Unreal Blueprints and C++

Work closely and share insights with the game team and co-dev partners
Requirements:

Good general understanding of programming and game systems regardless of game engine

Loves problem solving and sharing knowledge with team

Loves making multiplayer games

Can implement features from start to finish

Doesn’t shy from responsibility and taking ownership of their work

You are not a disciple of any certain code paradigm

Wants to make kick-ass games for the big screen platforms

Hunger for information and understanding of how things work

Ability to thrive in a non corporate startup environment

Ability to work independently

Ability to communicate efficiently in English
